Sally grew up in Cornwall in the fifties. The wild Atlantic beaches, turquoise sea and rolling surf were the background to a happy childhood in St Ives. Her paintings evoke this beautiful landscape - the sandy beaches, rugged hills, yellow gorse, wild heather and the soft summer breeze of West Cornwall. She draws inspiration from the poetry of a place, a moment of joy looking at a landscape, or a memory of a place she loved as a child.
