"Minou Steiner was born in Normandy, France, in 1939. Growing up in Paris where she was determined to teach herself how to paint, Minou moved to London in the late 1950's. It was in 1961, however, that Minou discovered Cornwall and relocated to St. Ives. As an artist who exhibited extensively in this country from the New Craftsman and the Penwith Gallery in St Ives to the Festival of Mind and Body in London, and in France, her work forms part of any number of private collections throughout Europe and in the USA and Japan.
