Following the footpath down to the cove on a cool, blustery day. The vegetation has lost its summer greens, replaced by the rusts and ochres of autumn which glow gently when the occasional rays of sun touch them. Two cottages perch above a choppy sea; the sky darkens suddenly and rainclouds roll in. Time to head home.
