Christmas Exhibition 2022 - Clara Holmes

'Rich tones and dark colours reflect the feeling of the still life Christmas series. Using a more vibrant approach to previous works, these compositions take note from Matisse's use of tableware, fruit and landscape.'

Clara Holmes is a Falmouth based artist working with figurative and still life compositions. Her works begin with life drawings, which she translates onto large scale canvas in order to push the boundaries of scale and colour. Clara is currently furthering her studies at Falmouth University, were she is studying for a BA in Graphic Design.
