At the top of Rosewall Hill, at the ancient boundary wall, watching the clouds scudding across the fields. First flush of gorse in evidence, its coconut scent faint but definite. Across the moorland, green and yellow in the sunshine, Trendine Hill stands proud and purple heather-clad, a glimpse of the blue Atlantic behind. Buzzards drift lazily on the thermals above, encouraging their young one in its early attempts at flight.
