Ralph Drift has sculpted, primarily in wood, for 35 years. He has several evolving themes, two of which (Free Standing Abstract Forms and Sculptural Vessels) are represented in the current exhibition. He has lived and worked by the sea most of his life and the forms and textures of the waves have influenced and directed most of his sculpting. Ralph rarely shows in galleries. He has sold his work to private collectors among whom are Daniel Katz (owner of Daniel Katz European Sculpture) and Raffaello Tomasso (Tomasso Brothers Fine Art).
