Gregory Warren Wilson

For the very first time this December, we welcome Gregory Warren Wilson’s brilliantly colourful and innovative glass to New Craftsman Gallery.

Gregory’s work plays with the translucent nature of glass. Conceived in multiple layers, sometimes as many as six, his designs allow light to interact with the glass spatially – sparkling, scintillating, and appearing to shimmer as you look at them.

The tesserae he uses are hand-cut in Murano with great precision, so that the individual tesserae reflect and refract light in an extraordinary variety of ways.

On show from 4th December to 8th January.

There will be a Private View afternoon between 2pm – 4pm on Saturday 4th of December during which we will be hosting a conversation with Joanna Bird and Gregory Warren Wilson. Please let us know if you wish to attend.
