Things have been a little uncertain of late, but at last we have been able to rethink our 2020 season in line with both current lockdown regulations, and the UK’s longer-term plans to slowly ease restrictions.
For now, you can see our Shaping The Future exhibition online, with the option to Zoom/Facetime/Skype with us for a closer look at all the beautiful works in this show.
Our Neil Davies Weathering the Storm exhibition, with ceramics by Akiko Hirai, has been put back by a few weeks and will now run from 13 June to 25 July. We aren’t sure if we’ll be able to open the gallery at this point, but again, you will be able to see the show online and take a virtual look at Neil and Akiko’s work by arrangement.
Our Of Place and Time exhibition, with work by painter Martha Holmes, potter Jack Doherty and woodturner Adrian Mitchell, will now run from 1 August to 5 September, and we very much hope to be welcoming you to the gallery by then.
Unfortunately, the crisis has meant the cancellation of our September Festival Exhibition, Making Connections, which will now run in 2021. Instead, September will see us exhibiting work by ceramicist Matthew Chambers and figurative painter Judy Buxton. We are optimistic that September will see us all back together again, in whatever ‘new normal’ form that may take, and we are so looking forward to welcoming you back to NC.
