Hilary Mayo - Fragile Field

Hilary Mayo's new collection of work continues her exploration of the spectacular Icelandic landscape. With a focus on hand-built forms detailed with multiple layers of glaze and applied marks, her works respond to the geology of the island, as well as a collection of native bird eggs, which act as a metaphor for the fragility of Iceland's natural habitats.
