Adam Buick - New Vessels including Cornish Series
26th March to 5th May 2016

Adam Buick - New Vessels including Cornish Series Adam Buick's powerfully understated, Korean inspired Moon Jars are made from clays, grit and metal ores sourced directly from the land. Created as a veneration of landscape, they explore ideas of cyclical change and the transience of human endeavour. The unique nature of each jar comes from the natural metamor- phosis of inclusions during firing, a method which embraces unpre- dictability and says something of the human condition and the ways land- scape might shape us as individuals.
